Wild Alaskan beauty. Glaciers, mountains and cool riding by the sea This 520 mile tour on all sealed roads starts from the sea at Homer, then heads northwest to Anchorage and along the Matanuska river east again before heading south back to the sea at Valdez. The Alaska Highway, surely one of North Americas best roads.
Leading on from Seward highway, lots of nature to see, great watery backdrop and some nice corners, very recreational, to be enjoyed in good weather.
A really enjoyable highway route, with good surface, nice corners and amazing scenery. The weather can ruin it, but you might get lucky!
Nice road but with very changeable surface, varies from good tarmac to potholed dirt. Otherwise very enjoyable.
Partly paved and partly gravel track, this is a beautiful little ride. If you head north there is also a part of the old Edgerton Highway.
Surely one of the most scenic roads in Alaska (if not the US), accessible from Cordova (by ferry!) a few nice little bends but this one is a pure scenery gem.
